Care, Use, and Safety

• Pre-warm using dry heat only—recommended methods include the Theratools Mobile Warming Bag, Warming Tray, Warming Salt Bowl, or a dry towel cabi
• Never warm in units containing moist or wet towels—steam and humidity will degrade the salt
• Only use with massage oils
• Do not use with lotions, creams, or gels—these may cause the salt to break down and make the tool difficult to sanitize properly
• Use on clean, dry or lightly oiled skin
• After use, gently buff with fine-grit sandpaper to smooth any rough edges or mineral texture
• Sanitize with an EPA-registered disinfectant, such as Lucas-Cide (thymol-based)—spray or wipe only
• Store in a dry, low-humidity environment between uses
